The Winning Strategy for Wellness Means Playing the Long Game

Many people see weight gain, physical breakdown, and the onset of nagging body aches as an inevitable consequence of aging. I want to show you the value of corrective exercise, which focuses on identifying static and dynamic postural dysfunction as the root cause of chronic pain. The right mobility and muscle activation exercises can help right these imbalances and stop the cycle of cumulative injury. This philosophy of “prehabilitation” (as opposed to rehabilitation) can help clients avoid medical intervention and set them on the path to reclaiming a more pain-free daily life.

Law & Motion promotes physical fitness through simple body maintenance. It’s also a resource for holistic wellness, dedicated to offering inspiration and resources for establishing work-life balance, improving greater mental and spiritual satisfaction, and cultivating a sense of integrity and purpose.

“My Fitness Philosophy Prioritizes Simple Functional Movements That Are Scalable To Everyone.”

Fitness isn’t solely the quest for six-pack abs or a 6-minute mile. Rather, I believe the foundation of fitness is functional. This means practicing good basic movement habits that translate to making the demands of everyday life easier, more accessible, and pain-free.

I began my career in 2007 as a junior associate at a national law firm, so I get it.

I founded Law & Motion to share simple, implementable, achievable…

If you’re interested in working with me personally, I am available for one-on-one consultations and corrective exercise and mobility training sessions over Zoom. My current rates are $115 for a 50-minute session.

FAQS

I’m not an attorney. Can I still train with you?

Absolutely! The effects of a sedentary office environment are not limited to those in the legal profession. My training method, which prioritizes safe and efficient movement and utilizes corrective exercise techniques, can help attorneys and non-attorneys alike.

I have an old injury and/or chronic pain. Can you help with that?

Always consult with your doctor before beginning any exercise program! Assuming your doctor has cleared you to participate, then yes! I work with clients who have under-rehabilitated injuries or chronic issues such as low back pain to help them reclaim lost range of motion and correct muscle imbalances that are causing their pain and limitation.

What can I expect if we work together one-on-one?

Our training sessions will be customized to your individual goals, current fitness level, and address individual static and dynamic posture issues and any movement limitations or chronic pain you experience. Importantly, they will also be tailored to what you enjoy. We’ll use weightlifting, HIIT, boxing, cross-training, and many other modalities to make sure your sessions are varied and fun!
